Ministry Profile
William Jackson is the Founder of our ministry and his lovely Wife Susan is the
Co-Founder. They have been involved in ministry for over ten years. Most
recently in Haiti as Missionaries to those impoverished people. Also with
teaching and preaching in and around New Jersey and New York and conducting
seminars for community health and conferences.
We founded this ministry in 1999 by organizing a "Prayer Summit", what
a great day that was. We felt the presence of the Lord in a very tangible way
that day and for 14 hours we were in Beulah land. The Ministry has
just
blossomed from that series of meetings.
Since that time we have been involved in a number of community events like
the National Day of Prayer, Trenton Battle Monument Prayer meetings, Health
partnerships in bringing education to the adult community about
Cardiac disease
and treatment, as well as Smoking cessation through another venture call
the Hamilton Tobacco Treatment Center. Also world missions in Haiti. In Haiti we
have established a Clinic in La Plan D'Nour the only
one of its kind in that
town or for miles in any direction. We have also purchased land and built a
school on that land. We will continue to go forth in this calling in spite of
current circumstances in Haiti.
As the President and Founder of this Ministry it is my desire to cause an
effective change for the Kingdom of God. "People need the Lord", that is a
wonderful line from a song by Steve Green. Also a truthful theme in God's word.
Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life and no man or woman shall see the
kingdom but through Him. I, we want people to see Him, to feel His love and to
experience the abundant life He gives. Please stand by us in prayer and giving
and together we will effect a change for Him.
We are teachers and preachers of His word, we believe that any message of
love begins and ends with Christ. Therefore it is with this in mind that SMI has
helped to build that "Medical Clinic" in Haiti. We have been assisting with a local ministry there for over 5 years and
will continue to reach the lost through this ministry. We have purchased land
and built a school in "Duty" another small town in Haiti. We are helping
distribute the word of God by our "Bible Sponsorship Program". This past April
we were able to give 200+ Bibles to people in Haiti. Many of them received their
first copy of the scriptures because of our partners giving to this project. We
will continue to help in this way as long as faithful friends continue to tell
us with their support that they approve of our work in Haiti. Please be a part
of this on going work.
