Haiti Needs Help

  A massive, 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti near the capital of Port-au-Prince on Tuesday,
  January 12th. The damage to buildings is extensive and the number of injured or dead is estimated to
  be in the hundreds, even thousands. I heard one report saying maybe 100 thousand dead.

  Pastor Ebed Paul recently preached a service at CCCE Which is my son Cisco's Church. Pastor Ebed
  resides in Haiti and was there when the earthquake hit. He and his family are safe but the damage to
  Haiti is extensive. We are taking up a special collection for Pastor Ebed Paul to help the Haitian people.
  Please do your best in the support of this effort. I know some would say what can I do to help? Even a
  little can go a long way in God's hand. Remember the widow's mite and what the Lord said about her gift.

  I know everyone would love to give a thousand dollars each but most can not. So pray and ask the Lord
  "What would you have me to do Lord.

  This ministry will take nothing from this relief effort. Every dollar sent to us for this effort in Haiti will be
  used in support of Pastor Ebed and the work needed to be performed. Many of you know Pastor Ebed
  to be a man of God. I trust him and have been in support of the work there in Haiti for years. SMI has
  given thousands of dollars over the years to this work without one question as to it's use in Haiti. These
  men are really about the work of God.
